And Speaking of Updates...

…I'm too lazy na to post on my 365 project. So yeah, ang tamad ko, pakshet. Anyways…

Hi.

Fumi-feeling physically fit ako ngayon dahil napasubo akong tumakbo for my first ever, as in evurrrrr, 10k run on April 9 dito lang din sa Alabang.

* Chos.

O kaya road hump.

* Chos-chos.

O kaya tae ng kalabaw.

* Chos-chos-chos!!!

Kaya kanina kinarir ko ang 10k sa treadmill. Haggard. Inabot ako ng 1 hour and 10 minutes.

* Ultra electro magnetic chos!!!!

Now Performing: Care Divas

It's a story about 5 gay care givers working in Israel facing different situations in a bomb torn country. It was hilarious and serious at the same time. Ricci Chan rocks the house. My suggestion is take the 3rd, 4th or 5th rows para kita mo ang buong stage.

BASTA, I highly recommend this play.

Care Divas is showing at the PETA Theater (Near E. Rod. Malapit lang sa Fahrenheit bakla!) every Friday, Saturday and Sunday, 10AM and 3PM, until March 13, 2011. Once lang yata yung 8PM performance and that was last night only.

For tickets, call PETA at 725-6244, 410-0821.

Ching!

Self portraits I did in 2007.

O… di ba ngrrrk? But sad to say, hindi na nag-improve ang katawan ko.

* Hmph!

Two more months, summer na.

* CHING!

Now back to me. Lalong-lalo na kapag naka board shorts sila at wala akong makitang bilbil in all directions.

May two months pang maaaring umasa sa milagro.

*ching, ching, CHIIIIIIIIING!

Sunday Afternoon with the Puppy

When I bought my puppy 4 months ago, I also bought a pack of doggie diapers. But I later discovered that even if it was the smallest size available, it was still too big for a 1-and-a-half-month old pug. Now 4 months later, upon seeing the pack of diapers again, I had one piece tried on my dog. 4 months gave him enough time to grow big enough to finally fit in one puppy diaper. He can use it if I decide to bring him to the mall or let him hang around inside our house, without my Mom tailing him around. Big Boy hates them, but I think he looks cute wearing one. The problem with the doggie diaper is that Big Boy's bung hole is so close to his tail, the diaper's tail hole also exposes it. So in effect, he can only use it for peeing.

Because he was in diaper mode today, I let him stay in my room for a while. Then I thought of having our pictures taken together. Yesterday I bought a Canon 50mm F1.8 lens for my camera from Digital Walker in Powerplant. And today was just a perfect opportunity to have it tested. We never had a picture together before. This was the first time.

I'm still choosing which picture to print for my empty picture frame. :)

Silver Swan

Walang duda, I have very low self-esteem. Pakiramdam ko kasi napaka pangit kong tao. Well, slight lang naman.

"Ngyak may shokoy!"

Ako lang pala yun.

"Ngak may shyoke!"

Putok, kutkot, gasgas. More kutkot more fun. More putok, more fun too!

Mmmmm... Pwet...

Tapos kulot pa ako. Tapos hindi pa ako maputi. Tapos may astigmatism pa ako. Tapos may braces pa ako.

So alam mo yun? Namana ko dapat. May pag-asa sana eh. Yung mantsa sa bedsheet yun. Yun 'yon, eh!

Well anyway, no use to cry over spilled sperm cells, ganito na ako.

Lumaki akong mahiyain. I got through college with this psychological defect.

Someday.

(pabulong) someday.

Chos.

(Tangina niyo! Mga hudas! Ayheychu ayheychu ayheychu... Huhuhu...)

After college, life was a bit better for me. Natuklasan kong kaya ako naloloka sa classmate kong si Steve dahil isa nga pala talaga akong... Diyosa.

"You have a nice smile, Felipe"

"Ganda ng telephone voice mo."

"I like the fact that you're drama-free. Let's meet up again this week."

"You're funny. I like talking to you."

"You entertain me with your pictures."

"I like the way you kiss."

"Everything about you is interesting."

"Ang galing mong chumupa! Ooooh... Ahhhh... Hay jusko... lord... Ang charap... dude, bro, pare... 'te... Shotangina mez.... Aye carambaaaaa..."

May the force be with you... 'te!

Loyalty

If there's a reason to, I try to have some sense of loyalty on a company that produces a product or renders a service. As in the case of my kwento, on a bank. About 7 years ago, my favored bank was iBank. I loved that bank so much, I even had my BPI accounts closed (transacting with the Ayala Alabang branch was just way too much of a hassle for me, plus the tellers weren't exactly friendly, especially the fat lady on counter 1... sige hanapin ninyo siya kung nandoon pa!). This may be a bit shallow, but I loved the iBank Ayala Alabang branch kasi meron silang piano player and a grand piano inside the branch. It was so bongga. And they serve coffee while you wait in the sofa until it's your turn to be served, instead of standing up in line for several minutes like in most banks. And when you get to talk to the accounts personnel, they make you feel that you're important. Probably this was part of their training.

"Balik na lang kayo bukas with the complete requirements."

So di ko na lang tinuloy. Tangina ang susuplada pa, ang papangit naman. As in! HELLER???

* inhale... exhale...

Tongino long.

Heniwey, as I was saying, I was a depositor at the iBank Alabang branch but because work was mostly in the ParaƱaque area, I opened another checking account at their BF Homes branch and that's where I met these 2 bank personnel who I always do my transactions with when I am there. NGUNIT SUBALIT DADAPWAT, iBank was later on bought by Union bank and because of this, nagpalit na din ang mga tao sa BF Homes branch. The 2 people I know from that branch resigned and the service I was getting from the new management was REALLY lousy. Tapos imagine, ilang months sila hindi nagdeliver sa akin ng bank statements during the migration period and when I tried to ask for copies of these bank statements, ako pa ang gusto nilang singilin for reprinting. Sobrang na turn-off talaga ako. I reopened an account with BPI pero yung sa may South Supermarket, para lang magkaroon ulit ako ng ATM account na madaling ma-access.

A few months later, I received a phone call from the 2 lady personel na kilala ko sa iBank telling me that they did resign and they're inviting me to deposit to their new bank which is also located in BF Homes. So mabilis pa sa natataeng baboy, I closed my iBank account, kumembot ng 1,000 steps 4 blocks away and opened a new account to this new bank on their inauguration day. I was surprised to know na 10 kaming new accounts na lumipat from Union Bank. I am fairly ok naman with the services and how I have been transacting with this bank. Nothing complicatied naman. For 3 or 4 years I've kept an active account with this bank.

Last month I learned that the 2 ladies resigned again, after 3 years, and moved to another relatively new bank with higher positions and presumably a better pay. My office received a brochure of their new bank's services. And this afternoon, as expected, I got a call from one of the ladies again inviting me to open a new account with them. With the kind of job that I have, my personal security is a consideration as to which bank I can open an account with. I gently declined the invite. Di rin naman pwedeng dahil lang sa lumipat sila ng ibang bangko, susunod naman ako. i don't think that's right. I have developed some sort of loyalty to my second bank mainly because I'm satisfied with it. As for the 2 ladies' case, I believe they wouldn't be able to establish a devotion to a company if they keep on jumping jobs. Siguro hindi sila satisfied with their previous company, they're nice ladies pero I don't think it's proper for them to drag their old clients to their new bank like an act of pirating. Walang pilitan. If I'm satisfied with my current bank, why should I make a switch kung ako pa ang mahihirapan because of distance.

And my point is...

We just had dinner at Cafe D'Asie at Bellevue Manila. The food is alright pero my gulay ang bagaaaaaaal ng service.
