Ber months na! I can't believe it. Baket, BAWAL? Blog ko 'to. Kantutan kantutan kantutan kantutan kantutan! Tapos dadaan ang Araw ng Patay. Tapos Araw ng mga Santo. Tapos anniv namin ni Hani (hihihihi). Tapos Christmas. Tapos Bagong Taon. Tapos Balentayms.
I haven't really been writing lately. Madalas kasi pagod na ako. I don't even have the time to read other blogs kaya medyo nananahimik ako.
As in may warning light na. Ok Felipe? Hoy Bakla makinig ka!
I really don't have anything to talk about. Wala akong ma-chika. I just have this need to write. Alam mo yun, pampa-kalma ng sistema bago matulog at baka mamaya ma-rico yan ako nang di oras. Haggard. RAWR!
Here is a pic I took kanina with my Sony Ericsson habang nagmumuni-muni sa lounge area ng Asian Hospital.
La lang. Share ko lang.

6:15 PM
I guess I haven’t visited The Asian Hospital in a long time. Nagulat ako may coffee shop na pala at iba pang stores baba. As soon as I stepped in the lobby, random thoughts came in my mind. This is where Tito Nonoy died; where I was confined for typhoid; where Botchok died; where my ex boyfriend used to work; where I went after I had a little accident at the gym; etc.
My Dad had an operation on his prostate this morning. My Mom says it was a minor procedure. She tried to explain it to me but I doubt she could understand whatever she was saying.
“Basta, yun na yun,” sabi niya.
And then she showed me on her phone a picture of what was removed from my Dad. Gee, Mom, thanks. Hmmm. Suffice it to say, I’ll never look at BACON or TOCINO the same way AGAIN.
I didn’t do much while I was there. Watched an episode of True Blood (nakaka-adik din pala ‘to ‘no?) on my iPod and then I fell asleep. I woke up when my Mom started screaming. My Dad was vomiting. The nurse earlier gave him pain reliever through IV even though he wasn’t asking for it. Oddly though, most patients daw get this side effect. Well, yun ang nakaka inis doon. And he wasn’t in pain in the first place. Good thing my Mom wasn’t in warrior queen mood. She was calm and relaxed while the nurses were going crazy cleaning up the mess.
If my Dad will behave properly and follow the doctor’s orders (Rest well, drink water, no more soft drinks, don’t harass the nurses, etc.), he should be out by Sunday.
Basta ako, I wanna stay healthy and try to avoid staying over night at the hospital because I DEFINITELY DON’T WANT TO BE CATETHERED! I've seen pictures of how it's done and.... and... and....

V2 Cruz
One Way ang Vito Cruz mula Taft hangang Arellano. Ginagawa nilang 2-way.
And for decades, ganyan na ang sistema nila. Kung one way, punyeta, ONE WAY!
Manila's finest penguins.

PHLOG: Too lazy to blog. Puro PEEKCHURS.
SATURDAY:
Traffic in Ortigas. Horrible.
Toys at Comic Con, SM Megamall. I was suppose to blog about this. Pero tinamad na ako.
I think it’s cool that a lot came in costumes.
Not toys.
Geek you very much.
Dinner with the boyfriend at Banana Leaf, The Podium. Then a massage at Amistad, QC.
MONDAY:
Work. Wala lang. I was bored in the car. My driver was giving me the nasisiraan-nanaman-ng-ulo-si-Felipe look.
I bought an Apple TV. So this means I’m not buying a new iMac anymore. But I think I still have the budget for a Canon 60D when it comes out on the last quarter of the year. On installment, of course.
As I was doing my work during the day, and syncing my Apple TV with my iTunes late afternoon, an embarassing episode in Philippine history was happening. We all know how unreliable the Philippine police force is. Thanks to multi media, the rest of the world now know this as well.
The next day, I learned the English translation of Bongang-Bonga: Major-Major. It was a flip of emotions for the Pinoys. Just one note though. Being in the final 5 isn’t bad at all, you know.
TUESDAY:
I’m worried about my dog. He’s so old, he can’t move around easily anymore. And I’m to blame for not taking good care of him.
Lunch at Conti’s in BF Homes Parañaque with Mom and Dad.
Wednesday:
Coffee with boyfriend at Bona Coffee Westgate while watching True Blood on my iTouch.
Mister Statue Man at The Festival Mall.
Dinner at Kenji Tei, BF Homes.
No other customers yet.
My ramen.
After I gobbled up pretty much everything, I noticed that an insect drowned in my soup.
Mindanao gate. Eager to get home.

Easy Lang
As usual, it was a tiring day. It was just something that I needed to do na sana hindi ko na kinailangang gawin. Pero pukeng ina talaga!
O, Felipe, ang puso at ang wrinkles. Remember, positivity. Inhale... exhale...
Ehehe ehehe.
LOL!
Tapos bumalik kami sa Alabang. Nag simba kami sa St. James. Special request ni Hani. Siguro kailangan niyang mag pray. After that, nag dinner kami sa Luk Yuen. MSG overload.

Not So Shonget
Well, di naman. OKs lang. Keri lang. Shonget lang.
So I did my chores from 8 to 10am. Visited 2 branches and did transactions with 2 banks. Picked up my cousin from my Tita's Madrigal house and off we went to Bonifacio High Street. Pucha ang daming tanong ni pinsan. Parang Q & A sa Bb. Pilipinas lang naman. Mauubusan ako ng english.
"Oh. That's a good question. Uhm. Uhm. Uhm. Keep it up!"
Eh... Di bah lang. Stiff neck levels. Para kaming equalizer. Punyeta ayoko talaga tumabi sa kanya. Nagmumukha akong walking stick niya. You know naman me. KYOT.
"Bakit? Nalula ka ba sa aking towering height? It must be your failing eyesight." - Bambi, 'Temptation Island.'
"Wow. Ang lekey nemen ng mall."
Tapos namasyal kami sa High Street.
"This is really nice. It's muhguhnduh."
I treated him to lunch at Italiani's. He had a bowl of salad. I had the whole Pepperoni Pizza. Baboy levels, I know.
"Puke mong button-fly. Pinsan ko 'to. Gaga."
"Ay, sorry. My mistake. Bakla lang."
"Baklang Hayden ka."
"Ouch..... thank you."
We decided to go to The Venice Piazza Mall at McKinley Hills to have coffee at Figaro. He had a Figaro Frost. I had a hot Cafe Mocha. We shared on a chocolate cake. I'm glad that he liked his Figaro frost. Tapos doon ko na siniraan ang Starbucks. AHAHAHAHA. Eh pucha totoo naman eh. SBC, Figaro, Coffee Bean and even UCC have better tasting coffee than Starbucks.

As I was staring at the darkness, trying to fall asleep, a friend texted me this message.
"everybody seems kinda lost these past few months. I hope di ganun ang situation mo."
I was intrigued and at the same time touched. I rarely get messages of concern from friends. And this one made my day.
But it's true that lately things haven't been very well with a lot of people who I know. As for the degree of trouble that they have, it's not that tragic. But problems still, nevertheless. And I miss seeing my friends smile. Ako din, I have my own problems. Everyday, I get the same work headaches over and over again. And then some. But I try to keep sane through positivity.
Everyone has problems naman, right? May mga sipleng problema, may komplikado, and there are problems na hindi naman actually problema like love. Kaartehan lang.
Aminin!
Tikman o magpatikim. Subukan o umiwas. Sumubo o lumuwa. Spit or swallow.
CHOZ!!!
Kung ano man ang desisyon mo, PAREHONG may maganda at di masyadong magandang kahihinatnan which is fine. That's life.
Me, I worry about work. I worry about why I seem to get weaker. I worry about where I will be in the future. I worry about my friends. I worry about my boyfriend. I think friends have this impression na wala akong problema. Probably because I don't post much about my problems and issues. Or I don't talk or write about it on my blog. All they see are happy pictures with friends and the boyfriend. Plus a Mom who's an excellent provider. But I do have this weight on my shoulders that just doesn't go away easily. Siguro kaya din may insomnia ako minsan dahil sa kaiisip. It's not easy to have this responsibility to act as a leader of an organization.
But you know, life isn't all about that. Every now and then, I have to remind myself about the lesson I learned from Brian. Death can choose anyone to be next in line. Mapa bata o matanda. Life is too short to spend on worries.
So keep on posting your happy thoughts and keep taking happy pictures and then share them. It's all about that.
*****
It's a BMW 1. Tapos cute pa yung may-ari (nasa likod ng naka dark polo na lalakeng jubez). Kawawa naman siya (sniff, sniff). Di ko lang nakunan ng pic. Sayang. La lang, landi lang.

Seminar on a Sunday Again
I went to the Powerplant Mall yesterday afternoon rather late kasi nag siesta pa ako sandali.
We had coffee at Seattle's Best. I don't want to be a traitor to my generation but I think SBC's coffee is way better than Starbucks. Pero I only had tea.
Tapos dinner at C2. Chris and Jing haven't tried eatting there. And the Crispy Kare-Kare is something I recommend to anyone na mahilig lumamon.
And it's best to have it with plain rice to taste the real flavor of the sauce. Sarap.
Before heading home, coffee naman muna kami sa UCC. We shared on my favorite Chocolate Xanadu.
*****
I tried to convince myself that today will be a good day.
Kagabi, maaga nga ako nakauwi from Saturday night out. Nagchacha in the tune of "Empire State of Mind" at "Sex Bomb."
"Tik-ti-la-ok bakla. Bangon na!"
Weekend madness pala ngayon.
"Sex bomb sex bomb... You're my sex bomb... Something something something something something sex bomb..."
O, hinde.

Street Pussy
I just hate it when people get tampo with me easily. I get that when I don't respond to facebook messages or emails or ym chats or texts. I either reply late or don't reply at all. And my only justifiable and REAL reason is that I'm a busy person. Wala ako magagawa, career woman ako.
CHOZ!
It’s not that I'm ignoring anyone but If I don't immediately reply to a text, that's probably because I was at that moment doing something more important. Like, shall we say, WORK? AND if I don't remember who you are on YM, keep in mind that you're not the only one-named stranger on my list whose background I probably UNINTENTIONALLY mixed up with another YM buddy. So please, drop the drama and just be nice to me. I try to be patient with people's hang ups but my work already gives me enough hassles that can last a decade, I don't need anymore stress from attention hungry kids. A happy day. Yun lang ang wish ko araw-araw. At world peace.
THANK YOU JUDGES!

Alam mo yun, parang Koala o kaya Tarsier?
Sabi ko, “ew, yuck, it’s so dumi. Sipain ko nga.”
Tapos bigla siyang gumalaw. Shucks. Kuting pala. At alive siya.
“Shucks.
So after I did my work on that branch, tinawag ko yung kuting.
“Huy kuting!”
“Meow?”
“Sama ka na lang sa akin.”
“Sige bakla! Meow! Meow!”
At sumama naman sa akin ang kuting. Sheht. Sana ganito ding kadaling mamick-up ng lalake.
So ayun. Siguro mga 2 or 3 weeks old pa lang yun kasi cloudy pa yung eyes niya. Sana mag survive siya sa amin. Bakit?
Hayyy Mimi Sue, I miss you!
LOL.

My Coron Palawan Trip
Last weekend, boyfriend and I visited Coron Palawan and HAYLAVET! I haven’t visited Puerto Prinsesa yet so I can’t really compare which of the two is better but boyfriend says Coron is much better MAYBE because it’s still underdeveloped which pretty much preserves everything.
If you’re planning on a trip to Coron, here are some tips that I can give you. Bring light clothing. You’d end up getting wet everyday because of the snorkeling and the beaching (pausong word, thank you very much) kaya all you need is a pair of board shorts per day and a sando or a shirt. But I suggest a sando para ibandera mo naman yung pinaghirapan mo sa gym at malay mo (malay niya, malaysia!) may isang hotness na turista ang maka-aura sa iyo sa kabilang island o sa kabilang bangka, wagi ka. And no need to worry about changing your clothes during the day because you WON’T be. Don’t forget to bring sun block and a cap lalong-lalo na kung kalbo ka (by chance or by choice) tulad ko.
* AHEM!
Yun na.
Ang Tricycle ride sa Coron ay 8 pesos lamang per person to get to wherever you need to go na malapitan, just in case biktimahin ka ng kupal na trike driver. And if you plan to take walks at night, I suggest you bring a flashlight. Madaming aso sa Coron kaya madami ding ebak sa kalye. And Coron is known for angry mosquitos so don’t forget to bring your anti-mosquito lotion as well.
We stayed at the Coron Village Lodge.
Strangely, the cats here are friendly.
May built-in lights and street signs nila. Sushal!
Our first meal. Early lunch. For a long day.
Ang 6-seater na tricycle. Bongga, right?
SIETE PECADOS is a Marine park that has plenty of sea life on an extensive coral reef in very good condition. It’s an amazing site for snorkeling. A must-visit site when in Coron. My underwater camera doesn’t give justice as to how beautiful it is.
“My anderrrr wuterrr kamerah dazen gib jaztiz az tu haw byutifel idizzzz.”
Ang mga hungry fish sa Siete Pecados.
KAYANGAN LAKE is the cleanest lake that I’ve ever seen. OA ba? Sorry, bakla lang. Tiny snails and baby barracudas inhabit the lake. Don’t worry, they don’t attack people. Sometimes called the Blue Lagoon, it is nestled between limestone cliffs, and is a mix of salt and fresh water. The same rock formations can be seen underwater. You can get to the lake after a 10 minute mountain trail. Eeek!
Docking at Kayangan.
Almost there.
Tiny Snails.
Baby Barracudas.
Si Tour Guide looking at the limestone formations underwater.
The TWIN LAGOON is situated in a humongous limestone formation and to get there, you need to either swim (snorkel) under a narrow passage or if the water is too high, you can climb up to this steep bridge (and miss the snorkeling adventure!).
Entrance ng Twin Lagoon.
Naloka ang mga fish nang makita ako. Harassed?
These are the houses of the locals na nakatira sa Lagoon.
This fish tried to attack me. Imbyerna!
MAQUINIT Hot Spring is a saltwater hot spring situated between a mountain and the sea with a line of mangrove trees at one side na may mascot na mukhang giant daga sa entrance. Hindi echoz yun. Talagang may pet sila na mukhang giant daga. It is about 10 minutes away from our lodge via trike.
There are different pools with varying degrees of hotness. The higher pools are hotter compared to the pool at the bottom level. LOL.
While waiting for the boat at the dock.
Coron Gateway Hotel. Balita ko 5k a night.
Heading to the next destination.
Hello retired Bel-Ami boys. RAWR!
Harvesting oysters/pearls.
Guard house. Seriously. LOL.
CALUMBUYAN Island is I think one of the best islands in Coron. It’s a great place to relax with the rich flora. It also has a beautiful field of corals nearby which is worth seeing. Pero wala akong dalang underwater camera case when we visited this island kaya I don’t have underwater pics.
Islaaaaaa!
And this island has a friendly doggie!
MT. TAPYAS is the second highest place in Coron town. To get to the peak, you need to go through the 786-step trail which is safe because it’s paved and has handrails.
You know you’re already at the top when you see the giant steel cross. And at the top, you get to see the panoramic view of the whole town and the other nearby islands. There are different shaded spots also to go to just to relax and enjoy the view.
Hindi pa sunny nung umakyat kami. :(
I think this is a PAGASA weather station.
One of the view decks.
MALCAPUYA ISLAND is about an hour and a half away from the Coron port. But the long boat trip is worth it because when you get there you’ll see white sand beach and the colors blue, green, torquise and aqua all lined together. The island has remained undeveloped and as a result is still well-preserved. If you’re curious about how Boracay used to look like before the hotels and garbage, this is the place you should visit when in Coron.
Ganito dapat ang ISLA! Magandaaaaaaa!
We were able to visit only one shipwreck and that was on the 2nd day. There are others more pero hindi na kami interested doon. And due to lack of time and/or bad weather, we didn’t get to visit Banol/Atuwayan Beach and the Coral Garden which were part of our tour package but that’s alright. I think we visited the best parts of the tour.
Hmph!), Canon 18-200mm lens, Canon 10-22mm, Canon Ixus 80 IS and Canon Waterproof casing.
